`The beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.` Or so goes a saying. But how on earth is the beholder going to lay his eyes on the beauty if she is not her attractive self?

A butterfly attracts a million eyeballs rather than a moth, though both are the same as far as structure and shape goes. The vibrant colors, the elegant strikes of the rainbow on the wings and the well carved shapes of the butterfly does it is image a load of good than the moth, who is none the inferior, but loses out on the make-up front. Think about it - if an insect makes such a difference with make-up (albeit natural), how can a human being, more so a lady, leave everything to the beholders` eyes?

Here we shall discuss about the various aspects of make-up and its importance. Since ages, make-up and external facial gratification has been given utmost importance. From Cleopatra to the Harappan lady, every woman took help of herbs and make-up ammunition to look prettier than her rivals!

Eyes: Eyes can speak a thousand words where actions speak ten. Eye shades and mascara are the two usual tools to help put your eyes in the limelight. While light and shining colors should gel well with the day, the rigors of the night should be blended with darker hues that give a sense of mystic yet sensuousness in the lady herself. Also shades and colors that highlight the eyes or go well with the color of the pupil should be used. Mascara is to be minimal, and only used when you are sure that the hot weather or wild parties may not upset them.

Lips: Lips are the flavor maker of the whole fruit. Glossy lips that shimmer in day and sensuous, darker flavors in night are the order of the day. Liners and darker shades usually go well with each other, and work well if you can carry off that famous pout. Otherwise, tilting to the softer side is the best idea for ladies who are actually clueless about what to put on. Avoid a messy and over-indulgent strikes on your lips, as they might as well work as turn-offs than seductive breaches in the grandiose walls.

Cheeks: The face, they say is the workplace of the beautician. And it is better off, especially for girls to effervescently blend their cheeks into the face background. Having high-cheekbones may give you a manly look that is so damaging to the overall brilliant make-up that you may have crafted. Daft bridging and blending the cheeks into the face makes your face more presentable and feminine.

Skin: The facial skin is the last but not the least of all the garnering possibilities in makeup. You can use several skin toners and moisturizers as well as cleansing and nourishing liquids to help acquire a special glow of the skin. Fresh and well maintained skin always exudes an aura of the youth that is so important for the beholder to notice you! Loose bronzing dust with your foundation liquid can also work wonders for your skin. Lastly, get rid of all the excess facial hair that may prove to be a dent to your feminine sensuousness.

You must always maintain a set of make up tools that is up to date and has everything in it - ranging from powerful concealers to brush care units. Fashion sensitive women can always opt from a huge range available online as well as in stores nearby. But the fact remains that no matter how expensive or how well furnished the make-up box is, you must know the art of make-up well to finish with glory!
